A Saturday together

During this pre-holiday season, it is a rare occasion to have Randy at home during daylight hours - so we absolutely treasure any time we get! Last Saturday he spent the day with his girls - Lucy helped me to direct him on putting up the Christmas lights. Yes, it's a bit early, we're looking forward to being the first in the neighborhood to turn them on after Thanksgiving! For any of you who may not know why Randy works so much this time of the year, here's the deal... He owns/operates a gourmet olive oil & vinegar company called Sotto Voce, manufacturing is done at the warehouse in Spanaway & he has a retail shop in Pike Place Market. In addition, he sells to many Puget Sound area higher end grocery stores & gift shops. The Christmas season is his "bread & butter" as he likes to say, this crazy busy time makes up a large portion of his annual earnings. There is also a very active online retail store - http://www.sottovoce.com/. We are so thankful that so far even in the midst of a rocky economy, his loyal customers are still supporting Sotto Voce!
