Hanging out with the fishies!

Lucy & I had a wonderful fall day today! We woke up to thick fog covering the cove & spent the morning nursing in front of the fire watching the fog lift. Afterwards, Lucy went down for a nap and I made stew (love the savory fall foods!). Around noon, we enjoyed a walk outside in the cool crisp fall sunshine. Lucy's had little catnaps today catching up from her busy past couple of days. I snapped these pictures quickly while she was enjoying the fishies in the bouncy seat. Thank goodness for the fall.

First time to Grandma & Grandpa Webster's

On Monday afternoon, Lucy had her first trip to Grandma Susan & Grandpa Dennis Webster's home on Lake Steilacoom. It was pretty amazing to see the instant response when Susan called her sisters (the Great Aunties) to tell them Lucy was in town... they were over at the house in record time! Christy, Alex & Julia also came by, it was quite an afternoon. Needless to say, the day after has been recovery time for Lucy after so much stimulation! She's asleep on my chest as I write this. Thank you to each of our family members, you're all so special & your support means the world to us.

Tammy & Teresa

Well, these are two of my other mom's growing up - Ali's (my childhood neighbor) mom Tammy Calkins & Rashmi's mom Teresa Puri. On Sunday night Lucy & I had our first sleepover at Grandma's house in Centralia while Grandpa was away on his hunt. Lucy did pretty well in a new environment overnight. On Monday morning, Grandma had an obligation, so Tammy & Teresa came up to the house to get in their snuggle time while I bathed & got ready for the day. Thank you two so very much! I am so thankful to have both of your families in my life.

How can it be?

Okay, it's official... baby clothes sizes are not consistent. This is Lucy at 7 weeks in a 9 month size sleeper! Luckily, she does still fit all of her 3-6 month things as well...

Meeting the Fast's

Thank you so very much Dallas & Linda for coming to visit! Linda was my piano teacher when I was younger... poor Linda... I wasn't very good! You are so close to our family & have always been so supportive, thank you for being the kind people that you are!

Great Uncle Anil!

If Rashmi is an Aunt, then that makes Anil a Great Uncle! On Sunday afternoon (just as the Seahawk's game was starting, sorry Nish!), Lucia Grace & I drove down to Centralia. We stopped at the Puri's home so that Lucy could meet Rashmi's father & sister - Anil & Nisha. Anil has been one of my Dad's closest friends for many years, they were best men in eachother's weddings. While at their house, Miss Lucy decided she's a social eater... she gets around people & just wants to eat! After her "meal", she socialized with Nisha & then was peacefully rocked to sleep by Anil. Thank you guys for being such a special part of our lives, we love you so much!
